This page will be dedicated to my ideas for the project. I demonstrated a few ideas for the style and genre of the music video.
I also created a mind map and a mood board full of different ideas which I want to use later in different products.

My first idea for the music video was to use Kpop genre because of its popularity nowadays. They all share same codes and conventions in their music videos such as : high quality production, constant changing of clothes and hair, impressive designs and backgrounds and amazing choreography. After researching, I decided that I would not use this idea because it would be very hard to create a similar video. I believe its because of lack of my experience, number of people/dancers, tech equipment and other things that are used in K – pop music videos.
Later, I started focusing more on old than modern music videos. I realised how funny and unique they are. I decided to chose Elton John and his songs. In my opinion, he is an amazing artist, performer who dedicated his life for his career. He was an inspiration for a lot of people not only because of his music career, but also what he could achieve during his life.
Below, you will see a number of pictures/videos that I found to create a mood board. I have used old footages form different black and white films. They all share a common idea – dancing. I want to use dancing in my own video in the future. I have also found many pictures of well known artists that were popular form 1950’s – 1990’s.
