During editing my music video, I have documented how to use specific tools that I have never worked in before. I found it very useful to record as I every time I was struggling, I could come back and look at it again.
When I was learning numerous techniques for my prelim video – I really wanted to use the duplicating technique because I find it interesting to watch. However, when I need to added for the first time, I found it very difficult. Over time I could easily use the “crop” technique and put videos on top of each other. All my other moves, you can see in the video.
In this video I have demonstrated how I can use the “transform” technique and use other tools on colour section to make the music video look brighter and more colourful.
I need to use the “transform” technique to make black borders in some shots. I wanted my music to look very similar to the original video. Same as the “crop” technique, I found it difficult as I didn’t know how to use. However, practising in my prelim and in my own project helped me to gain a deeper understand of this tool.
Problems that I have faced during my practice
During editing, I have faced a few problems in Adobe Premium CC. My main problem was with saving my videos in the right folder. At the very beginning I was keeping all my videos on the desktop and later would put them in a folder (not to loose). However, as soon as I would put them in a folder, in Adobe all my videos would disappear.
Therefore, I decided to take screenshots during my first steps in order not to forget and make the same mistakes.

I wanted all my three products to be connected by the logo. I have decided to use the star, therefore I decided to use it in the establishing shot. I wanted the music video coming from the inside of the shape. In this video, you can see all the steps I had to achieve what I have planed in the begging.
